A 17-year-old English teenager, Stacey Irvine, has been told by doctors that the fast food she has been eating for 15 years is killing her.
She has eaten virtually nothing but chicken nuggets since the age of two and was recently rushed to hospital struggling to breathe.
Shocked doctors found that she suffers from anaemia and swollen veins in her tongue due to her chronic addiction to the fast food product.
Stacey said that she is beginning to realise that her diet is really bad for her.
‘McDonald’s chicken nuggets are my favourite. I share 20 with my boyfriend with chips,’ she added
However, she does not just stick to one brand and is prepared to branch out to KFC or supermarket brands to feed her addiction.
Mum Evonne, 39, is battling to get her seen by a specialist and claimed to be at her wits end with her daughter.
‘She’s been told in no uncertain terms that she’ll die if she carries on like this. But she says she can’t eat anything else.’
Her health issues are not the only problem that Stacey has encountered through her addiction, as she now has four bin bags full of free toys from her nugget meals.
One has to wonder at the parents who allowed their daughter to eat only chicken nuggets from age TWO!
